Decorating Your Dining Room
Interior Decorator Lisa Reis gives some great advice you can use while decorating your dining room. Look carefully at the room’s focal point and make sure it is featured at its best and not overpowered by dated furniture and wall hangings. You can update your dining room set on a budget by purchasing some new and more stylish dining chairs or changing the handles and knobs to something fun like crystal. Formal China cabinets may overpower some dining rooms, but by removing the top section and replacing it with a nice mirror and/or artwork, you can instantly update your room while also making it more spacious looking. Make sure if you are staging your home to use artwork that is neutral as opposed to personal artwork and photos as they may not appeal to everyone.
