Marie Crawford, owner of Pulp Kitchen gives some ideas for fresh fruit smoothies.  While fruit smoothies are delicious and healthy, they can also be high in sugars.  Consider choosing fruits with lower sugar or adding more vegetables and adding almond or soya milk to your smoothing along with your favourite fruit to make a healthier, lower sugar version.   Also, buy fruits fresh when they are in season and freeze them for great smoothies all year around.  They will keep their nutrients, taste much better and likely be cheaper than buying them out of season.
