Salamba Sarvangasana – Shoulder Stand
Certified Yoga Instructor and owner of Yogabodii Samantha Merkur demonstrates how to do the pose Salamba Sarvangasan or Shoulder Stand which is an inversion pose. If you are a beginner or have shoulder, neck or thyroid problems, it is best not to try this pose at home. Samantha demonstrates how to effectively achieve this pose with the use of props such as blankets, blocks and belts. This pose is good for soothing the nervous system and increasing blood flow to the heart and brain.
