MYTH #1 Spot Reduction – You cannot spot reduce through fitness and training. Work out more, watch your calories and you will lose weight from your head to your toes!
MYTH #2 Stretch Before Workout– Traditional stretching before workouts can actually be counter-productive. Try dynamic stretching such as jumping jacks or light running on the spot which is much more effective at warming up the muscles.
MYTH #3 Weight Training Causes Bulky Muscles – Just. not. true! Excess body fat causes the bulky look, lose the fat and you will find beautiful lean muscle.
MYTH #4 Cardio Training is best for losing weight – It is effective for the first 10 pounds, after that you will find it much more productive to add weight training to strengthen muscles which in turn will speed up your metabolism.
MYTH #5 More is Better – Your body needs rest and recovery to build to it’s best. Over training can cause fatigue and injury.
