Women’s Self Defense
In this series Ray Tio, head instructor of World Class Karate is demonstrating women’s self defense techniques. In this segment we see an attacker attacking from behind. Watch as Sophia uses a technique to stop the attacker and get out of harms way.

A 5th degree black belt JKA, internationally ranked competitor with top 3 placings in the world in kata and kumite, Sensei Tio has been a member of the Canadian National JKA team since 1993.
World Class Karate is also home to Sensei Ed Leung, 6th degree black belt JKA, Head Coach of the Canadian National JKA Team, Sensei Stan Tio, 5th degree black belt JKA, former Canadian Team member and internationally ranked athlete and Assistant Coach of the National Team and Sensei Sofia Mojica, 4th degree black belt JKA and provincially and nationally ranked athlete and current member of the National Team.
